This policy covers the Accents: Metronome app for iPhone and Mac (“Accents”, “the app”), published by S.C FRATIC S.R.L. (“Fratic”, “we”). It explains what the app does with data and what it does not do.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Accents has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics of its own. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any identifier for our own use, and we operate no server that the app talks to.
Microphone and recordings (Takes)
The optional Takes feature records your playing alongside the click so you can listen back either way. It works like this:
- The microphone is used only after you press the Record button, and a REC readout stays visible for the entire take. The metronome itself never asks for microphone access.
- Recordings are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- You can rename, trim, delete, or share a take at any time. Sharing uses the system share sheet and sends the file only where you choose.
- Deleting a take removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes all takes.
- If your device backs up to iCloud or a Mac, your takes may be included in that backup under Apple's terms, like any other app data.
Settings and presets
Your tempo, meter, accent patterns, presets, themes and other preferences are stored on your device so the app can bring them back. They are not sent to us.
Purchases
Accents Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy. The app checks your purchase status with Apple to unlock Pro features and to restore purchases when you ask it to.
Advertising in the free version
The free version shows one small banner. Ads are served by a third-party ad network and are configured as non-personalized: the app does not ask for permission to track you and does not share the advertising identifier for personalized advertising. The ad network may still receive technical information needed to serve and count an ad, such as an approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type and OS version, and the fact that an ad was shown or tapped. This data is handled under the ad provider's own policy. Accents Pro removes the banner and, with it, the ad network's activity.
Diagnostics
If you have allowed it in your device settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us through App Store Connect. They contain no personal data and we use them only to fix bugs.
Children
Accents is a general-audience music tool. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side; everything the app stores is on your device and under your control. If you are in the EU/EEA and have a question under the GDPR, or want to know more about how the app works, write to us and we will answer.
Changes
If the app's data practices change, for example if a new feature needs something this policy does not cover, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version ships.
