If something went wrong, tell us the device (iPhone or Mac), the OS version, the app version from Settings, and what you were doing when it happened. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps a lot.

Does the metronome drift over a long session?
No. Each bar is rendered as one audio loop and handed straight to the audio hardware, so the click is sample-accurate. There is no timer firing individual clicks that could fall behind.
How do I accent, soften or silence a beat?
Tap a beat dot. Each tap cycles it between accented, ordinary and silent. The pattern is saved with your preset.
Why does the app ask for the microphone?
Only for Takes. The microphone is used when you press Record and for nothing else; the metronome itself never needs it. Recordings stay on your device. See the privacy policy.
Where are my takes stored? Can I delete them?
On your device only, inside the app's own storage. Swipe a take to delete it. Deleting the app removes every take with it, so export the ones you want to keep first.
What does Accents Pro add?
Pro removes the banner and adds background and lock-screen playback with a Now Playing card, every click sound, every theme and icon, and effectively unlimited presets. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
I bought Pro on one device. How do I unlock it on another?
Open Settings → Metronome Pro and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account. The purchase covers iPhone and Mac.
Can the click keep playing with the screen locked?
Yes, with Pro. Background and lock-screen playback are part of the Pro unlock, together with a Now Playing card so you can stop the click from the lock screen.
The practice timer is not counting.
It counts only while the metronome is actually running, and it waits for the count-in's “go”. If you stop the click, the timer pauses with it.
Is there an iPad version?
Not in this first release. Accents ships for iPhone and Mac; an iPad layout is on the list.
